What we do

Four connected pillars that support farmers and bring exceptional Ugandan coffee to the world.

Pillar 01

Coffee growing & seed support

Healthy, productive trees are the foundation of income and quality. We help farmers renew ageing farms and manage them well.

Planting material

  • Seedlings from certified, accredited nurseries
  • Coffee wilt disease–resistant Robusta clones
  • Rust-tolerant, high-cup-quality Arabica
  • Varieties matched to each farm’s altitude

Field training

  • Spacing, pruning and stumping of old trees
  • Mulching, composting and soil fertility
  • Shade trees and banana intercropping
  • Managing twig borer, berry borer and leaf rust
  • Selective picking and post-harvest handling

Pillar 02

Our roasting philosophy

We roast with respect for origin, not just flavour. Every batch is profiled to bring out the natural character of Ugandan coffee while meeting specialty-grade standards.

Quality control on every lot

  • Moisture and density checks on green coffee
  • Sample roasting and cupping before purchase
  • Small-batch roasting with logged profiles
  • Post-roast cupping for consistency

Pillar 03

Market access & fair pricing

We connect farmers to buyers with transparency and dignity, so better coffee earns a better price.

Fair pricing model

Prices above local farm-gate rates, clear premiums for quality and long-term buying relationships, with revenue reinvested in communities.

Direct trade

Direct relationships between farmers and buyers, transparent pricing, buyer matchmaking and export coordination.

Quality & traceability

Lot separation, cupping scores and farm-level records, including the farm mapping that deforestation-free markets such as the EU now require.
